Visit us

Thinking of coming to visit us this week?

What should I expect?

When you arrive, you will be warmly greeted at the door – they can answer any questions you may have and help you find where to go.

If you arrive at around 9:30am, come join us for prayer before separating into groups for Bible Study at 10am. Remember, there is no pressure here – just a group of friendly people chatting about life and God’s love. Do you have children or youth? If so you will be happy to hear that we have interactive Bible classes for all ages.

At around 11:15am we all meet together in the main hall to enjoy singing, prayer, a children’s story or special item, and a message from our pastor.

After the main service we invite you to stick around so we can get to know you better! We often have a lunch together where everyone brings something to share – but don’t worry if you can’t as there is always enough to go around!

Our church is made up of imperfect people, but the one thing we have in common is a Saviour who loves us and wants the best for us, a Saviour who died to save us.

No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus freely gives to everyone.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are! We don’t have a dress code for our service, and believe that God is more interested in your heart than in what you’re wearing.

What about my kids?

Bring them! Our worship service caters to all ages, and every main service includes a children’s story – each child is welcome.
We also have classes especially for children, where they will enjoy songs, crafts, and lessons from the Bible.

We are committed to providing a safe environment for our children and vulnerable persons. Adsafe Church – an organisation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church – helps to ensure that our church is safeguarded from sexual abuse and other forms of harm. Our church upholds their code of conduct, screens all volunteers who work with children and follows a child safety policy. Visit Adsafe for more information.

What does a church service involve?

A typical worship service includes worship songs, prayer, a children’s story or special item, and a sermon from our pastor, local leader or guest presenter.

Why do you go to church on Saturday?

Exodus 20:11 says “… in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.”
We go to church on Saturday because it is the biblical day which God set aside as special – a day to rest from work and worship our Creator, enjoy community with others, and minister to those in need.

It also happens to be the day that Jesus chose to meet with fellow believers for the purpose of public worship.  Luke 4:16 describes Jesus’ weekly habit in these words, “…He went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures.”  If you have never yet discovered the incredible experience of the Sabbath, consider taking the Sabbath Challenge: https://sabbathgift.info
